Hmmnn i'm counting the days! Exactly a week from now, i will be in a boat with friends bound to Cagayan. Yahooo! It's going to be my first trip to Mindanao and i hope it's going to be a memorable and enjoyable one. I'm still contemplating whether or not i will join the whitewater rafting adventure. Whew! I'm getting nauseous thinking about it! Getting to Mindanao is already an adventure in itself for me. Hello? How many hours do i have to endure the travel?? Waahh! Short island trips is already sickening, let alone an overnight trip? Goodluck to me! :P

in Camotes right now enjoying the crisp of the summer air and the romantic ambiance of the moonlit by the sea. LOL! But here i am, sitting and just writing where i am supposedly be! At 9:00pm earlier, i should have been in a boat bound to Camotes with Glorie. I'm the chosen one who will witness as she celebrate another year to her life. Heheh! But the invitation was a bit too late and i'm caught between my workload and the time to prepare my things, i had to pass. I could get there tomorrow morning but coward as i am, i cannot and i do not do sea travels alone. Heller! Anyways, Happy Birthday to the future business tycoon, my friend Glorie. :) I wish i am with you girl right now, you know how much i wanted to go back to Camotes :(

Hadsan Cove

Since I had a long weekend last weekend because of the Holy Week, i was contemplating not on my sins but on where to go to. However, i may not do all those traditional religious holy week stuff that most Catholics do but I normally would just stay at home. I could have gone to Bantayan Island with friends but for some reasons i did not. On Thursday i was so bored i asked my friend Glorie to hang out anywhere not at home. We ended up chatting and idling in Hadsan Cove, an old inexpensive beach resort around Lapulapu. It was not much of an eventful day but at least i was out... :D

on break ups

Let's just say I'm no expert really when it comes to matters of the heart, specially with break ups. I have quite a few friends who are still under the verge of wallowing painful break ups with their boyfriends. The only best thing i could do is listen and be there for them all the time. I'm glad i came across this site that explicitly states ways on how to survive break up. Friends, you gotta read the article. It's really interesting and helpful. One of the beach resorts that i consider a favorite one here in Lapulapu is Plantation Bay. Of course, to many (including me), it's more of an expensive resort. So, whenever I am invited by a friend or a company activity is being held in the resort, i am more than excited. I really like it there. The views are nice and in the evening the ambiance is really romantic. I could only wish i was with someone special when i was there sometime last year. :P

Who says that love and being romantic is over just because valentine's day is over? Well, here's what i have to say - it ain't over! And it does not have to be over. Why? Because love and romance should be celebrated and noted by all of us every other single day of our lives. Would you agree? I am terribly missing someone right now and having stumbled this very touching letter makes me want to shout to the person i'm missing I miss you at the top of my lungs. company beach outing and family day

This year's company beach outing and family day will be held on April 19 in Maribago Bluewaters Resort. It is where we held our department summer outing last year. The picture on your right is taken during last 2004 company beach outing and family day in Cebu Beach Club or was it in Tambuli? I forgot already since the company occupied these adjacent beach resorts. Then again, i still look slimmer in this pic, lol! I was lucky i was just in time for that outing because i just arrived from my business trip/training in Michigan then.

It's already holy week next week. I was planning on going to Simala with my mother to visit the Blessed Virgin but then I'm pretty sure it will be jam packed with lots of devotees. I feel that it is not the time of the year to have fun but rather it is the time of the year to be lowly and humble and do some reflections. Don't get me wrong though, I don't despise others who would take this time off as a leisure time. It's one's discretions and beliefs. In fact, if someone will invite me for an outing next week, I'm gonna go! :)

white water rafting?

My friends and I are planning to go to Cagayan de Oro this coming April and will try this super extreme (at least to me) white water rafting action. I think i'm gonna puke just by the thought of it. But guess what, i'm still going with the group. I can't miss this outing. I'll find a way to enjoy even if i'm not doing the rafting. Or who knows? I might be convinced when i get there. :) After CDO, we might go to Iligan or Camiguin. I'm excited! :P

summer kickoff!

What greater way to celebrate the first day of March than a day at the beach? Cool huh! We spent the first day of the month which falls on a weekend at the beach in Portofino. Portofino is just one of the many beaches here in Lapulapu City. Apparently, it's Mellany's last outing with us :P You sure will find new buddies girl, but perhaps not as beautiful as we are! Ha ha! :P

holy week

Holyweek for this year is quite early. It falls on the month of March, that is March 17-23. As early as now, HR personnel is already routing Holy Week 2008 Reporting List. This is done since most associates would file for vacation leaves and enjoy a week long holiday. We can come to work with our civilian clothes within this week which is good coz i hate our tailored uniform :P Also, working hours from Mon-Wed is 8 hours instead of 9.6 hours. Not so much of a difference but it's better. I bet everyone would not feel like working anymore but rather on vacation mode already.

So our outing pushed through and what a way to start the first day of March than a day in the beach? Cool right? I did not go swimming though but I had fun just looking at the other people lazing in the sun, taking pictures and just by knowing that i had a different view other than the office you know. I felt lazy changing clothes later since i have to go to the airport after to pick up my friend who's visiting to Cebu. Anyhow, thanks to the newbies for playing a major part in the outing - preparing the food. We're looking forward to another outing next month. I'll post pictures later.
