While i'm bored at home, my friend Glorie is busy posing in a pool resort somewhere in the South. It's her friend's birthday and so they are out celebrating. She was also in another pool resort last weekend with another friend. Lucky her huh! I finally went to Boracay with friends last weekend. I had to file for a vacation leave because our flight was on Friday. Flight to Kalibo from Mactan was delayed for almost an hour. So instead of leaving at 1:05pm, the plane took off at almost 2:00pm already. Arrived in Kalibo in less than an hour, took a vhire ride to Caticlan. Took a pumpboat ride for less than 30 mins then another tricycle ride before finally hitting the whitesands of Boracay...

Aside from the company wide and department christmas parties, we usually have our own section christmas party. Last year, it was held in Tongs in Panagdait. It was fun because of course we had our exchanging gifts or manito/manita. The most memorable nickname then was Murbella. Funny thing was, the one who picked her name gave her an umbrella because he said murbella is from the word umbrella. LOL!

The first time i was in Tubod was in 2002 or in 2003 with the software validation group in the office. It was our section summer outing. That time, the pool resort wasn't that developed yet. I managed to open my eyes and see who was annoying me! hehe! :P It was my friend Glorie (who was absent from work because she woke up late!) texting me that we'll go to Tubod Flowing Waters in Minglanilla later in the afternoon together with her other friend. I felt lazy and i thought it's going to rain very hard and i was already planning of going to Colon. So i said no to the invitation.... I'll go with her next time around.

college years

When i was still in college, i never really had the chance to go out often. My life was home-school, school-home. I was only able to go out of town of Cebu for outings during school oriented activities, meaning activities organized by the Working Scholars organization. There was a required participation for whatever activity the organization had so i was always present and that's the only time that i get to go on outings. That was really okay because i understand how difficult life was. I would not want asking money from my parents for the rather unimportant expenses. Even so, college was still worthwhile.

looking back

Looking back at the old pictures, i realized i have so many moments shared with my coworkers than with my family. I had so many beach outings both company initiated and group initiated activities. Another tourist spot of Bohol is the Loboc River. Continuation from previous entry.... I left for California weekend of holy week. My other Cebuano coworkers went to New York that weekend. Obviously, I chose to go to California. I arrived there Friday noon, afterwhich, Maybelle and I went to Universal Studios immediately. We met her other friend also from California. It was really a nice experience. It was fun to roam around the area. One day is not enough!

My childhood dream of going to Disneyland came true last 2004. I was on offshore assignment in Michigan. Maybelle, my online friend from California called me and offered me to go her state. I was more than willing to go but of course i was hesitant at first because my money might not be enough. But generous as she is, she said she's gonna pay for my plane tickets! I couldn't believe my ears when i heard her said it over the phone! Geezzz! I'm such a lucky girl! Until now, i couldn't thank her enough...

One of my hobbies really is just watching TV. I can gaze at the tv for hours especially if i'm watching my favorite telenovelas. I even get to enjoy just watching the tv commercials. The TV at home is for me big enough already but sometimes when i go the malls, i get to wish that i own one of the whooping flat screen tvs on display. In travelling to the south like to Balamban, some vhires and private car drivers prefer passing through transcentral highway over the conventional route from Talisay down to Minglanilla. There's this another plan of me and Glorie - we'll go to Camotes this December. See, we have a lot of plans, just plans hehe. But this girl is soo busy right now with her lovelife so i might as well forget this plan. (hoist Glor adto gyud ta ha if wala ka date! para magamit na tu nako akong mga attire hehe)

I wouldn't mind going to Camotes again, i love this place a lot. Only that, i hate the travel in going there. I don't like the 2 hours of pumpboat ride, it makes me sick! :(

11 more days and i'll be off to Boracay! Yehey!!!! I will be going there with 9 other colleagues. I'm so excited, i can't contain it. We'll be staying there for 2 nights and 3 days. Flight to Kalibo is on Friday noon and flight back to Cebu is Sunday noon. I planned of having my hair done this week but i changed my mind. It can wait until we come back from Boracay. Hope the weather is okay next week.

If you are from the South of Cebu, i'm sure you are very familiar of the word Simala. My younger sister have been there a few times already. She said, there i can see the miraculous image of Virgin Mary. I so wanted to go to this place and see for myself. Glorie and I have been planning to go there but apparently it never happened yet. Hopefully in the next coming weekends, we can visit the said place.

Glorie invited me last night to go with her and her friends in Alcoy today for a beach outing. Since, i have nothing to do, i said yes. I set my alarm at 6:00am and decided to pack my stuff in the morning. When my alarm sounded, i became lazy and did not get up. I went back to sleep for another hour. I texted Glorie if the plan push through? She said no, to my delight, i went back to sleep! LOL! At least, i didn't wake up early for nothing ;)
