heavy rain

It's raining very hard today making the mood so gloomy. I hope it won't rain again tomorrow as i need to hit the downtown area and buy some stuff. Got some chores to do but it can wait. I just have to get back to the store and buy the sweatshirts and bracelets I reserved in one of the stalls last weekend. Haay i'm bored. Let me find something to eat!

another long weekend coming

Our offshore counterparts will be envious again since we will be having another long weekend next week. The holiday is supposedly on Wednesday, but to support plant operations, management has decided to swap the holiday on Friday. I don't have plans yet but i might just stay at home and sleep. I feel so lazy these days. I'm becoming boring lately. LOL!

collecting golds

Wow, collecting golds can be very expensive i know. But some guys are really lucky to be able to afford this kind of hobby. I for one, if i have the money, collecting golds can be a precious thing to do. Did you know that a gold bullion is real, honest money? Well, why not? It is a store of value and a safe haven in times of crisis. That's what i always think of when i bought my little gold bracelet. Not much but i at least have something to hold on to. Whenever we are out in the beach, we never forget our 'ceremonial jump'. In a way, the outing and pictorials wouldn't be complete without the jump. It is always fun to do so i really don't mind even if i had to grasp my breath after the takes.

so called preparations

I wanna prep up my body physically for the said trip in August. I have planned to eat nutritious food more, exercise like go dancing or jog every other day or at least every weekend. But just like my other plans, all vanished into the thin air. I said i was gonna start yesterday the jog but i was just at home sleeping. Hey i had an excuse, it's raining hard and i'm not feeling well. I was even absent from work. Before i know it, it's already August and i haven't done a thing! Tsk.

excited for August

I hate that time flies so fast. I hate that it's almost July. I hate that the days go by so quickly. But i'm at the same time excited! Sounds weird i know but truth is, i hate that i'd be a year older soon but i'm excited because my next trip is coming soon so fast! I'm really excited for it (there, i just said it again!) - won't tell you about it for now but it's going to be pretty fun - i hope. Wanna come with me?

baby gifts for the babies

At my age right now, it's probably not a question why most of my peers are either getting married or having babies. Last April, i just become a Godmother again to one of my college friends' daughter. Sadly though, i was not able to make it to the ceremony since i was out of town. Opps! I haven't gotten the baby a gift yet! Bad godmother eh! I'm just so busy really i don't even have the time to cut my nails. All the gifts the i've been giving to everyone lately are all belated ones. Hey, it's better late than never! With that being said, i'm thinking of getting some personalized baby gifts for my godchildren. I especially love these cute reilly towel and waschcloth towel set from Babynest. They also have this hat and sweater set. The flower cover up dress is so cute i think the baby wearing it would look even prettier. I think i could buy anything cute for the babies in this store. swv summer outing

Our section summer outing was held last May 30 at Cebu Marine Resort in Mactan. It was a fine day for the gathering but the weather turned sour later in the afternoon. But 'twas ok since most of the activities were already done after lunch. Not all joined but majority were present.

are you a paintball fanatic?

I haven't tried playing paintball but i sure think that it's a fun thing to do. I think a group of colleagues at work are into this game. I've heard them talking about getting some kits and clothing. They should get some paintball marker package from Zephyrpaintball. They offer a lot of package specials like halo kits, bronze kits, gold kits, platinum kits, starter kits, and a whole lot of other packages - all at affordable prices. Yey! It's a long weekend for us. Today, we commemorate the 111th anniversary of 'Araw ng Kasarinlan' or Independence Day. Originally, i have to work today and the weekend but apparently, work sched changed. I'm just relieved since i really have much household chores to do that i always put off doing. Now i can do them! What a way to celebrate freedom!
